High Point Friends School

High Point Friends School, grounded in the Quaker belief, "there is that of God in everyone” seeks to nurture the mind, body and spirit of all children, empowering them to contribute responsibly to our ever-changing world. The curriculum at High Point Friends School (PreSchool-8th grade) attends to the education and growth of the whole child through meaningful and reflective learning experiences. The engaging opportunities that students are provided daily are student-centered, hands-on, and experiential. Students are immersed in the fundamental principles of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality and stewardship through daily discussions, morning meetings, weekly student-led worship, monthly all-school worship, and service learning. At High Point Friends School, the student voice is listened to, valued and respected.

Special Academic Programs
Paideia seminars are frequently used to meet the academic, social and emotional needs of all students, enriching the students’ problem solving, expression and conversational skills.

After school care is provided with an additional fee until 6 PM. Before school care is also provided at an additional free starting at 7:15am.
