Special Academic Programs
The Middle College at GTCC - High Point (MCHP) is an accredited Guilford County high school with an incoming freshman class size of 50 students per year, a staff of 15, and an average class size of 17 students per class. Courses are taught on the GTCC-High Point campus where students are dual-enrolled in both high school and college courses. Students at MCHP have the opportunity to complete up to two years of college credit while in high school in courses taught by GTCC instructors. MCHP pulls students from all parts of Guilford County. Students are accepted into the program through a randomized computer selection process.
